Sphere 1 is thrilled to announce the addition of Christina Morrissey as Director of Events & Business Development. She will oversee the Sphere 1 Annual Conference and Sphere 1 NEXT, as well as be the point person for other events such as board meetings and trade shows. She will also work closely with our member distributors and suppliers to maintain and grow successful and loyal relationships. Christina brings over 17 years of experience in events and relationship management, making her an invaluable asset to our organization.
Throughout her career, Christina has demonstrated exceptional leadership in orchestrating high-impact events and cultivating meaningful donor relationships. Most recently serving as Director of Development at Tilly’s Life Center, Christina led transformative fundraising initiatives that consistently exceeded targets, leveraging her expertise in creative event themes, donor engagement, and budget management. From formal galas to dynamic golf tournaments, Christina’s work has inspired communities and driven significant contributions to teen mental health programs.
Christina’s core strengths include project management, client relations, business development, and team leadership. Her ability to align organizational missions with impactful event strategies has fostered long-term partnerships with clients, volunteers, and sponsors. In addition to her event expertise, Christina brings a sharp focus on building trust, clear communication, and proactive planning to her work—qualities that will greatly benefit Sphere 1.

Christina earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphases in Marketing and Management from Chapman University in Orange, CA. She and her husband, Drew, live in San Clemente, CA, with their two young sons and beagle. In her spare time, you will find her on the sidelines of her kids’ soccer games, planning parties, playing fantasy football and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching true crime and reality TV, or finding things in her house to organize.
