The Sphere 1 Family lost another pillar of our community this December. Bo Kilbourn was a founding member of Denali Industrial Supply in Fairbanks, Alaska. Gary Swoffer, Co-Founder, and Bo’s business partner of 36 years, would like to say thank you to our shared community, and express his gratitude for everything Bo did for him and his family over the years. Bo will be missed and remembered as one of the hardest working and caring individuals in our industry!
James (Bo) Kilbourn, 71 passed away suddenly on December 12, 2022. Bo & Gary Swoffer started Denali Industrial Supply out of a 1500s.f. facility in June of 1986. Today Denali operates out of 2 locations with 47,000 s.f. combined.
Bo was in charge of purchasing/inventory, amongst many other duties, his whole time with Denali. Much of the success of Denali Industrial Supply is due to this incredible man. Ask any vendor or manufacturer’s rep, and they will happily confirm this. He will be greatly missed. Bo is survived by his loving wife Tami K. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
